Spicy Stir-fried Chicken 닭갈비(Dak-galbi)

Materials
Base Sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp Coarse Red Pepper Flakes 굵은고춧가루 (gul-geun-go-chut-kka-ru)
- 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
- 3 tbsp Red Pepper Paste 고추장 (go-chu-jang)
- 2 tbsp White Sugar
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 3 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce 진간장/왜간장 (jin-gan-jang/wae-gan-jang)
- 2 tbsp Mirim 미림 (mi-rim)
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tbsp Neutral Oil
- 3 piece Chicken Breast
- 180 g Rice Cake 가래떡 (ga-rae-ttok)
- 165 g Sweet Potato
- 165 g Onion Sweet
- 192 g Napa Cabbage 배추 (bae-chu)
- 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
- 2 tbsp Green Onion
- 1/2 tbsp Sesame Seeds
Instructions
- Add oil to the pan on medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken breast in pan until golden brown.
- Add rice cakes and let cook.
- Next add the sweet potato and cover the pot with the lid to help steam the potato.
- Next add the onion and mix.
- Once cooked, add the cabbage to the pan and put the lid on once again until the cabbage is wilted.
- At this point, you can add the sauce and mix it into the ingredients.
- Let this cook for about 10 minutes and then top it with the cheese.
- Put the lid on again to melt the cheese and then top it with green onion and sesame seeds.
