There are different sized Gimbap that you will see in Korean cuisine.
- Gimbap (김밥): This is the basic thick sushi-looking Gimbap roll.
- Small Gimbap (마약김밥): This variety contains fewer ingredients and rice. You can see this small version often paired with tteokbokki.
- Triangle Gimbap (삼각김밥): This Gimbap is shaped into a triangle and usually contains minimal seasoned ingredients. For example, it may just contain seasoned tuna with mayo.
