
The sea squirt is found on rocks in the ocean. It has a red orange ombre coloring wiht a spikey top. It has a firm exterior similar to pork skin. The texture is more of a popping sensation when you bite into it followed by a strong sea flavor. This is my mother-in-laws favorite.
It can be added to soups (seaweed, soybean, ramen), bibimbap, raw, or eaten as a seasoned mixed side dish.
