Reheating
After making your porridge, you will probably have some remaining. The best way to reheat your porridge is to add it to a pot. As the porridge sat in the fridge, the liquid would have been absorbed, so you need to add some water back to the porridge. In the pot, add some water and turn to low heat. Constantly mix the porridge until it is completely reheated. Taste your porridge and add some salt if necessary. You can store any leftover porridge in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Eating
Porridge is usually served in a bowl with a garnish. Kimchi such as green onion kimchi (파김치) and mustard leaf kimchi (갓김치) are often served with porridge.
