
Mung bean sprouts are smaller than soybean sprouts. Mung bean sprouts are good for removing toxins in the body. This bean spout doesn’t give off a strong smell when cooked. These bean sprouts are named after a person in Korean history that betrayed Korea. The reason it is named after that person is that they go bad/change very quickly in storage.
When storing, place these sprouts in cold water in a container in the fridge. Remember these bean sprouts do not last long, usually, 1-2 days so use them quickly. These bean sprouts are more used as a recipe addition, not as the main ingredient like a side dish. It can be added to steamed dishes, added to side dishes, and or added to stir-fried dishes.
