To successfully make Gimbap, you need to consider one very important factor. Your ingredients should not be wet or oily. If they are, your Gimbap will not taste good, and the moisture will mess up the texture of the seaweed and the Gimbap in general. This is the most important factor of delicious Gimbap.
Besides that, delicious Gimbap should contain:
- Seasoned rice.
- A light layer of sesame oil on the outside of the seaweed roll.
- We want to be able to taste the flavors of the vegetables inside the roll.
- The roll should be tightly rolled and not falling apart.
- The Gimbap should be sliced evenly, not too thick or too thin.
