This site is an accumulation of my studies about Korean cuisine. After graduating culinary school and then meeting my husband, I fell in love with Korean cuisine.
The thing about me is that once I like something I want to know everything about it. I had so many questions that I could not find the answers to about Korean cuisine. So I spent the last 10 years researching, learning, testing, and organizing every detail about Korean food that I could.
Now I am sharing what I found with you!
Through my studies, I found that following a recipe would only take you so far, and that unless I learned the “why” behind each ingredient and step, I would never get to my goal.
That is why my blog highlights Korean ingredients and cooking methods in such detail as well as recipes that apply those points.
