
Dried taro stems have a unique clean flavor. They are available dried and pre-prepped. They are often used for soups and stir fried dishes. Make sure to store the dried taro in the freezer or a cool dry place for up to 1 year. If you end up prepping the dried taro yourself then store them in the freezer.
Instead of buying the dried variety, I recommend buying the pre-prepped dried version to save time on prep since preparing these before cooking takes a decent amount of time.
